WE HOPE YOU MADE IT TO THE SHOW!!!

Nov 30 2009

Our weekend at The Denver Woodworking show could definitely be called a success! We spoke to hundreds of people about the club and have already given a few tours resulting from those conversations. Our goal was primarily to gain exposure for the club and let people know what we are. We had lots of questions, lots of enthusiasm, and most importantly a lot of positive feedback about the concept of the club. We were very pleased to find so many strangers happy to know that we exist!

We want to thank John, Betty, and Brian at Lee Valley Tools for being such great neighbors and showing us what it feels like to work with the sharpest hand plane blades we've ever used! If the shavings had been any finer, they would have only had one side!

We would also like to thank our other neighbors, The Colorado Woodworker's Guild for being so friendly and welcoming to us as the new club in town! Thanks to everyone at the booth who stopped by to chat and share some of their knowledge with us! That is the type of camaraderie we endeavor to offer and encourage between all the woodworking clubs we encounter since in the end, we ultimately share the same goal; The cultivation of our love of woodworking, no matter our chosen discipline!

For all of you who stopped by, thank you very much, and are proud to be part of Colorado's woodworking community!
